The municipality of VRSA congratulates Auriol Dongmo, Patrícia Mamona and Pedro Pablo Pichardo on the gold medals obtained at the European Indoor Track and Field Championships, which took place in Torún, Poland.
Athletes who reached the gold stage were in the Sports Centre of Vila Real de Santo António, namely Auriol Dongmo, who trained in Vila Real de Santo António even before leaving for the competition.
The Sports Centre of Vila Real de Santo António is integrated, through the Sports Foundation, in the national High Performance Sports Centers, being dedicated to athletics, judo, football, triathlon and swimming.
Currently, it is one of the most accredited equipment at national and European level and is a reference for the training of teams and athletes. Provides support for high competition training, promoting rehabilitation and maximizing team performance.
